The American musician, songwriter, rapper and actress Fergie Duhamel (born Stacy Ann Ferguson; March 27, 1975). Originally as part of the hip hop collective The Black Eyed Peas, she gained chart success. Her first solo album, The Dutchess (2006), saw commercial success and spawned three singles number one Billboard Hot 100: “London Bridge,” “Glamorous,” and “Poor Girls Don’t Cry”.

Fergie was initially a part of the Kids Incorporated children’s TV show, and the Wild Orchid girl party. She left the party in 2001, and joined The Black Eyed Peas in the following year. She collaborated on two albums together with The Black Eyed Peas before releasing her debut solo album The Dutchess in 2006. She continued her collaboration with The Black Eyed Peas and released two more albums, The E.N.D. (2009) and The Beginning (2010), with them. In 2009 Fergie began performing with her own group. Her second solo album, Double Dutchess, is out in 2017.
